Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming human civilization at an unprecedented pace. Machines are increasingly capable of performing tasks once regarded as uniquely human, including reasoning, language generation, programming, design, diagnosis, and scientific discovery. As knowledge becomes increasingly accessible through intelligent systems, humanity faces a fundamental question: What capabilities will define human development in the AI Era?
This paper argues that although modern science has produced remarkable advances across neuroscience, medicine, psychology, education, systems biology, and artificial intelligence, human development remains conceptually fragmented. Existing disciplines provide deep knowledge within their respective domains but lack an integrative framework for understanding the human being as a unified, continuously developing living system.

To address this challenge, this paper introduces the Human Energy Foundation (HEF) as an open conceptual framework for lifelong human development. The Foundation is inspired by major scientific milestones concerning energy, living systems, and self-organization, while being grounded in more than twenty-five years of practical experience in life-skills education and over twelve years of embodied training for children with severe autism conducted by Tâm Việt EduEco.
Rather than presenting definitive conclusions, the Human Energy Foundation proposes a common platform for scientific inquiry, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous refinement. It is offered as an open invitation to researchers, educators, clinicians, engineers, policymakers, and communities worldwide to participate in developing a deeper understanding of human potential in the AI Era.
